If you listened to it in middle school, they play it.

The Tripps are bringing back the rowdy, upbeat, pop-punk sound of the 2000s with a twist. Composed of Brett Cashmer, James Setzer, Matt Snow and Eric Reeder, the group is known for their high energy and entertaining performances. With influences such as Green Day, Death Cab for Cutie and the Foo Fighters, The Tripps play songs everyone can jam out to, along with a mix of originals. The unique personalities of each member add to the charisma of the band on and off the stage.

Press Releases and Reviews

Meet the Artist: The Tripps

"Their live shows are characterized by Brett’s bright red pants, Eric’s energy level, Matt’s general shenanigans, and James’s bird shirts. Anyone who’s ever seen the band perform has a memorable experience. Last time I personally saw the band play at Fat Frogg’s, I recall Matt dancing with people in the crowd with his shirt off while ripping out a gnarly guitar solo to “Freebird”."

SGA Battle of the Bands Concert Review

"The most important part of a great performance is the energy of the band. For the Tripps, their energy is the most entertaining and engaging part of their live performances."

"Fustercluck" Press Release

"The band known as the Tripps have released their new song titled, “Fustercluck.” This song clearly a good fit for the band going along with their jovial attitude to rock music."
